Together with rubicom, a Linz-based agency for corporate history, and MOOI Design, Responsive Spaces developed an interactive exhibit to mark the 275th anniversary of the Elisabethinen Linz, highlighting the history of the religious order in Linz interactively. In addition to reports on significant developments and archive finds, the digital timeline also contains biographies of important personalities and information on the values of the order.
Innovative navigation through the eventful history of the “Lisln” is provided by a HAPTICORE rotary knob, which allows the viewer to select which timeline or personality they want to explore.
For METEC 2019 in Düsseldorf, Responsive Spaces joined forces with Primetals Technologies to develop a unique interactive trade fair installation based on a fusion of technology and pioneering spirit. At the center of the Steel City lies a miniature version of the steel mill of the future, consisting of over 200 semi-transparent acrylic models that can be brightly illuminated by a 24 m2 LED wall. Representing the modern and fully automated industry of the future, it demonstrates a variety of scenarios and makes the Steel City glow.
Visitors can interact with the installation using terminals arranged around the Steel City and gain in-depth information about various scenarios and internal processes of the steel mill. The terminals are equipped with HAPTICORE rotary knobs and offer haptic feedback for an even more immersive experience.
